Hello world! First day of school, and first day of blogging!
Today I moved into my dorm room, Beze 312, amid much chaos and excitement. I finally met my roommate, Ruth, face-to-face, and couldn't be happier. We find more and more to talk about as we realize that we are practically twins in many beliefs and preferences (did you know that we both brought funky purple hats in the hopes of wearing them more often than we have?).
Anyway, today marks the beginning of New Student Orientation week. Classes don't start until monday the first.
I have just realized that I forgot the schedules that I painstakingly planned out at home. I will have to come up with new ones. I now have more information though, so I can come up with better ones.
Not a very good post today, I am pretty tired. None of the exciting stuff starts happening until sunday. Tomorrow is just more campus tours, and the computer skills assessment. I'm not too worried about it, I just need to be in the top 50% of the class, and I don't have to take the remedial computers class.
Some highlights from my first day:
That's all for now, just a starter post to let everyone know that I will actually be doing this.

Hi Christina, love the hats. I remember my first dorm experience, the year before I met your Aunt Sheri. Pretty exciting stuff, away from home, taking care of myself and on my own. You're going to do great and we're very proud of you. Good luck with the start of school. Keep blogging about your experiences. It's a great reflective journal that you'll be able to look back on in 20 years. Take care!
